Readers will recall that Sydney's College Of Law has begun offering a range of LLMs, or Masters Of Law courses in Malaysia, Singapore and the rest of ASEAN on the strength of its standing in Australia, and its contribution to legal practise in Malaysia going back to the 80s. As New Malaysia Times has reported, the College's past and recent business in Malaysia is shrouded in mystery. Silence on the part of the College's advisers in Malaysia, Dinesh Bashkaran of Shearn & Wong Tat Chung of Wong Beng Toh , who are senior members of the Malaysian Bar , has only deepened the mystery. Now it has been discovered that the College Of Law Sydney, and thus the LLM courses it offers,are not certified by even the Council Of Australian Law Deans and its Australian Law Schools Standards Committee .               YBhg Datuk Ahmad Rejal Arbee By his professed standards of journalism, declared under oath in court, this assertion by National Journalism Laureate Dato Rejal Arbee that the current Sultan Of Johor his ancestors and his heirs are not "real Johor royals" lacks evidence. The statements made in this story are potentially defamatory, seditious and treasonous. Rejal states his thesis strongly and without qualification: Therefore, there is no denying the fact the current Johor Sultan is a descendant of the Bugis Temenggong, who was commoner and not of the rightful Sultan Ali, a Malay, who was simply sidelined by the British. This is a fact of history that is undeniable. It proves that the current Johor Sultan is actually a descendant of the treacherous commoner Temenggong who had usurped the reigns of the Sultan. Despite these precautions Chant encouraged everyone to visit ,not avoid, "cosmopolitan" areas. However, despite the concerns, Willoughby and other areas with significant Chinese populations were not locked down, and its residents not subject to mandatory testing. The response from  WA Corruption & Crime Commissioner John McKechnie   adds to the mystery.  The new foreign interference laws  provide another avenue for investigation into the matter.
