He refused to answer queries about the JV and about the outlandish claims made by the College about its contributions to legal education in Malaysia, going back to the 1980s. The College's claims have been refuted by UiTM, and the Federal Court Registry. These claims, and claims of having reformed legal practise in Malaysia, have caused offence to senior Malaysian lawyers this writer has spoken to who were already in practise in the 80s. None had heard of the College Of Law despite the ground breaking reforms it claims it had made to Malaysian legal practice at that time.
