AUD 750 Million wasted on COVID PPE that was thrown out -Some evidence of an accounting blackhole that the Perrotet government may be trying to conceal with its non-health service related quarantine fees

Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan The ABC has reported: The NSW opposition has accused the state government of wasting more than three quarters of a billion dollars on PPE that had to be thrown out because it did not meet standards. The discarded equipment included more than $150 million of face masks. A spokesperson for NSW Health said the faulty equipment was sourced by a "whole of government" procurement group, led by NSW Police. The above may well be among the accounting blackholes that the Perrotet Government is trying conceal with funds from its quarantine fee charge, which appears to be in fact a penalty. Government funding for the College Of Law PLT where students are assessed on the quality of their reflection on their work experience , not the quality of their work experience

Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan  The above has been extracted from the latest College Of Law Ltd's annual report.  The substantial government funding is provided via the Commonwealth's FEE HELP facility.  The Practical Legal Training (PLT)  which the College runs, and which is a prerequisite for admission to practise  in NSW, has the imprimatur  of the Chief Justice NSW, Tom Bathurst, in his capacity as Chairman of the the NSW Legal Profession Admission Board.  College Academic Director Lewis Patrick has said that in assessing the work experience component of the PLT  "  the College is not assessing the quality of (the student's) work experience, but rather the quality of (the student's)  reflections  on that experience . The College's PLT course is now mostly on-line, and there are problems with delivery and infrastructure. Its FEE HELP cashflow is being utilised to finance its expansion overseas. NSW charging quarantined travellers fee for police & army guards, COVID testing, another reason why Queensland may be ignoring NSW's quarantine fee invoice -Queensland only charges fee for food and hotel accommodation

Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan  Former NSW Treasurer and current Premier Dominic Perrotet issued the Queensland Government an invoice for quarantining Queensland residents who had returned via Sydney Airport, which the Queensland Government has quite literally thrown in the bin (see story below). One of the problems with the Perrotet invoice might lay in the fact that NSW charges  quarantined travellers  a fee for police & army guards and COVID testing, while Queensland only charges a fee for food and hotel accommodation . Queensland provides travellers ordered into quarantine an invoice with details of the components of the quarantine fee (see excerpt below), while NSW will not.  In NSW quarantined travellers receive a demand for payment from the NSW State Debt Office, and requests for an itemised invoice are ignored, if not denied. The quarantine fee is effectively a penalty imposed on anyone ordered into quarantine.  TO BE READ WITH    Pre...

TGA , Greg Hunt, CHO Paul Kelly pretend that approved vaccine producers share price collapse is irrelevant to vaccine safety

Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan                                               Despite official and unofficial booster mandates, that have come over and above vaccine mandates from their major customers, the governments of primarily developed countries with plenty of capacity to pay for their products, the share price and market capitalisation of the main vaccine producers have all collapsed. Vaccitech which formulated  the AstraZeneca vaccine is now trading at almost half its IPO price of USD 17, which it only got to briefly after the IPO. BoiNTech which formulated and  produces the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has seen its share price collapse to approximately USD 1500, after getting to a high of just above USD 400, in under 12 months, despite a slew of good news.  Moderna and Novavax have also seen their share price and market capitalisation fall off a clif...

NSW Supreme Crt's Beech-Jones J's application of a subjective test to objective evidence in vaccine mandate case has allowed NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard to escape scrutiny of his failed vaccine policy, against evidence from even BioNTech & Pfizer

Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan  “Vaccines wane,” Tony Blakely, a University of Melbourne epidemiologis said. “The increase in NSW is entirely expected even before you consider Omicron. Omicron didn’t start this kick-up, but it’s going to fan it, and numbers will go up even faster.” In the recent vaccine mandate case of Kassam v Hazzard Beech-Jones J of the NSW Supreme Court held that NSW Minister for Health Brad Hazard had every right to be an "advocate for vaccination" for the Minister can be expected to be a "policy advocate". Since that decision was handed down in October 2021 93.6% of NSW's 16 and over population have been double or fully vaccinated. Herd immunity should have been achieved, but it has not. COVID infection in NSW has reached a record of over 20,000 per day, a record that is more than 15 times the previous high. The COVID vaccines have clearly failed in what they were meant to do, for they are meant to prevent infection. A BioNTech/Pfizer funded stud...

Can ASIS officers in the field be confident that Deputy Director Catherine Burns will not do another Lindt Cafe, and endanger their safety

Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan     Former NSW Deputy Commissioner Catherine Burns, now Deputy Director General ASIS  The SMH has revealed: Former New South Wales Deputy Police Commissioner Catherine Burn is now officially recognized as ASIS Deputy General Manager for Corporate Management and Capacity. Ms Burns is probably best  remembered for her handling of the Lindt Cafe siege. Her approach was to negotiate, in a manner described by former NSW Police hostage negotiator, Belinda Neal: We here in New South Wales and overseas, negotiation, we contain and negotiate. So contain the situation, nobody can get in or out, and then look at negotiating. Where about a peaceful resolution and in this situations we had 16 hours where we had a peaceful resolution before obviously the tragic consequences. She was also responsible for excluding the Australian Army's Tactical Assault Group East from the operation, despite TAG E's superior training, and training for an incident in ...

In the case of a hung parliament in NSW, Governor Beazley of NSW will decide who takes charge of government but Bealzley can no longer be seen to be an impartial umpire

Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan  In the case of a hung parliament in NSW, Governor Margaret  Beazley of NSW will decide who takes charge of government but Bealzley can no longer be seen to be an impartial umpire. With three by-elections on the horizon and the possibility of a general election the prospect of a hung parliament is not remote. Meanwhile, it is clear that Governor Beazley's tenure as governor is dependant on Premier Dominic Perrotet's decision  to not pursue the complaints of bullying against Beazley.   TO BE READ WITH  Richard Butler resigned, Margaret Beazley remains governor- both accused of bullying so why the difference in punishment November 15, 2021  by Ganesh Sahathevan  It is difficult to see why these two incidents led to different outcomes, and why Margaret Beazley remains Governor of NSW.
