PUMA Voyage Nitro men's running shoes work well in a very wet Australian bush

PUMA Voyage Nitro men's running shoes waiting for a train home after a day
in wet, cold conditions in the Australian bush. Shoe design ensured good grip, and nice dry socks and feet.

This writer took his  PUMA Voyage Nitro men's running shoes for a day out at the Pines Forest Park, which is typical of the  Australian bush one finds inland from the east coast of the continent. It rained all day and that made ground conditions even more damp, slippery and soggy. East coast ground conditions this year  have been particularly damp and soggy  given a significantly wetter La Nina event since the beginning of this year.

All that was well managed by the Voyage's PUMAGRIP soles, and when slippage into creeks did occur due to loose ground, the wrap-around design which includes tongue melded to quarter ensured dry socks and feet.

Lightweight construction and PUMAGRIP assisted agility and was especially helpful when negotiating rocks and moss covered logs during creek crossings, and when climbing out of creeks beds.

The journey home by train and car was less adventurous, but having dry socks meant that a change of shoes was unnecessary.
