NSW abortion bill a good example of political Islam at work-The unborn also can join the ranks of the martyrs
by Ganesh Sahathevan
The public debate about the NSW abortion bill has seen opposition from mainly Christian and in particular Catholic and Orthodox churches but nothing has been heard from Australia's devout Muslim community or their leaders. except for statements of this sort which one has to look for:
The silence is striking given that "abortion is haram". Having said that readers should note that the Abortion Law Reform Bill 2016 which was rejected was in fact introduced by Greens MLC Dr Mehreen Faruqi. Faruqi has since become a NSW senator in Commonwealth Senate, and has been more than happy to project herself as a spokesperson for the Muslims of Australia.
The Greens have become champions of Muslims like Faruqi despite the fact that in Islam there is lttle if any room for the Greens cherished belief in gay rights, same sex marriage, and other liberal attitudes which are punishable by public caning even in Muslim countries in this region.
The apparent contradiction between Faruqi's sponsorship of the NSW abortion bill and support for the 2019 version , and her defence of Islam may seem contradictory, but only if one chooses to ignore that political Islam is the primary driving force for Muslims today (as it probably has been since the days of the Prophet).
Given that context, Muslim community silence on the matter of the abortion bill becomes clear: the unborn may be considered martyrs sacrificed in gaining temporary allies in the current jihad.
END
Voters being treated as illiterates :When did the REJECTED Abortion Law Reform Bill 2016 become the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019: Is the Dept Of Justice again playing politics; if yes further evidence that the 2019 Bill is tainted by bad advice
