DOJ 1 MDB asset seizure : Malaysian AG admits it has everything to do with PM Najib :Appandi's "watching brief" in conflict with Azalina's "a private matter between THE FOUR and the ..USA"

In an amazing about turn Malaysia's Attorney General Appandi Ali now says that he may himself be  be present at "the  hearing of the civil lawsuits filed by the United States Department of Justice (DoJ) on the seizure of assets allegedly misappropriated from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB)."

This is in stark contrast to  statements made by  de facto Law Minister Azalina: 

“It is a matter of the US government in reference to the particular legislature, and in reference to four of the defendants.
“I went online and looked into it, I do not see any government of Malaysia there (in the report), so I do not think it is relevant for (Malaysian) government to be directly involved.
“I think this is a civil matter. This is a private matter between the four and the government of USA,” she said.

Readers will be aware that " The Four" include "Malaysian Official One" , who is obviously the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.

Cost of NSW LPAB's PLT scandal must be disclosed as a separate item, and notes provided to explain clearly how the scandal came to be; cost must include provision for contingent liabilities
