The matter of Sirul Azhar comes to a conclusion: Turnbull , Keenan ,Dutton offer Sirul Azhar in exchange for "regional cooperation"

The timing is hard to miss.Just as the witless Michael Keenan arrives in Kuala Lumpur seeking
'regional cooperation' on terrorism, two video confessions   by Villawood detainee Siru Azhar Umar are  released over the Net , in which he effectively concedes that his conviction for murder handed down in Malaysia is not tainted, as he has previously claimed. 
He has this far given the impression that he was merely acting under orders from his superiors, ultimately the Prime Minister Of Malaysia Najib Razak, to merely dispose of the body of Altantuya Shaaribu, a Mongolian woman whose remains were discovered in a Malaysian nature reserve.

Consequently his application for a protection visa ,the success of which was tenuous at best, is now more likely than ever to fail. As previously explained on this blog Sirul Azhar has no choice but to implicate Najib Razak if his application for a Protection Visa is to succeed. In his two videos Sirul has on the other hand said everything possible to exculpate Najib Razak of any blame, and thus given up his defence that he was merely acting under orders, and then only to dispose of remains.

It is clear from the videos that Sirul has been provided with everything needed (even props) to shoot his interview. Villawood has very strict rules about visitors taking in even mobile phones.
It is equally clear that SERCO's senior managers who manage Villawood on behalf of the Australian Government have continued to provide Malaysian Government agencies access to Sirul, even as he attempts to seek protection from that same Government.

Witless Keenan ,Peter Dutton and their boss Malcolm Turnbull seem not to understand that this attempt at realpolitik is not likely to bring Australia any advantage.The reasons for that are in intelligence files from the past that they have either chosen to ignore, or whose contents they cannot comprehend.

Who authorised former NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller to say anything about the Berejiklian era quarantine fee and why? Fuller's notice confirms suspicion that NSW Berejiklian government had no basis to impose the quarantine fee, nor quarantine persons who were COVID negative

Fuller's issuance of his  COVID  quarantine notice, and subsequent silence, would seem to confirm suspicions raised on this blog that NSW's Berejiklian government had no basis to impose its quarantine fee. Fuller's conduct also adds to suspicion that the Berejiklian government did not have the authority, even under its COVID emergency powers, to quarantine persons who were COVID negative. International arrivals had to test negative for COVID before boarding their flights to Sydney, and tests had to be administered within 72 hours of departure. A mandatory quarantine service fee applies to all travellers arriving in New South Wales (NSW) who are required to quarantine as part of the public health order. Mandatory quarantine is needed to stop the spread. of COVID-19 in NSW The qurantine fee has been charged pursuant to Section 70 of  the NSW Health Act. However, as previously reported, that section does not permit any imposition of mandatory fees.  However, in apparent defiance of Section 70 of the Health Act, Fuller issued a notice   in which he said  that Revenue NSW " will be charging a mandatory quarantine fee".
