Khairuddin Hassan -Which foreign power or organization is he serving?

The Malaysian Insider has just reported:

acked Umno leader Datuk Khairuddin Abu Hassan, who was freed a day earlier over investigations for allegedly attempting to overthrow the government, was rearrested by police outside the court this evening.As soon as he was released and walked out of the courtroom, a police party was waiting there and arrested Khairuddin under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma).
"He is now being investigated for offences under Section 124K and 124L of the Penal Code," said lawyer Matthias Chang.  Section 124K and 124L deal with sabotage and attempting to sabotage the state respectively.


The relevant provisions of the Penal Code state as follows:

h)sabotage means

(a) an act or omission intending to cause harm

(i) for the interests of foreign powers or foreign organizations; 

(ii) to premises or utilities used for national defence or for war; or 

(iii) to the maintenance of essential services; or (b) knowingly producing defective materials, premises or utilities used for national defence or for war;


Sabotage 

124K. Whoever, by any means, directly or indirectly, commits sabotage shall be punished with imprisonment for life. Attempt to commit sabotage 

124L. Whoever attempts to commit sabotage or does any act preparatory thereto shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to fifteen years.

Who  are the "foreign powers or foreign organizations" that Khairuddin  has acted for, and what "interests"  are they pursuing?

We assume that the relevant "ac(ts) or omission(s)"  are Khairuddin's whirlwind travels   , evidenced by his published diaries,  and photos  often taken in the vicinity of  law enforcement offices of the countries he had visited.

Government funding for the College Of Law PLT where students are assessed on the quality of their reflection on their work experience , not the quality of their work experience

 by Ganesh Sahathevan  The above has been extracted from the latest College Of Law Ltd's annual report.  The substantial government funding is provided via the Commonwealth's FEE HELP facility.  The Practical Legal Training (PLT)  which the College runs, and which is a prerequisite for admission to practise  in NSW, has the imprimatur  of the Chief Justice NSW, Tom Bathurst, in his capacity as Chairman of the the NSW Legal Profession Admission Board.  College Academic Director Lewis Patrick has said that in assessing the work experience component of the PLT  "  the College is not assessing the quality of (the student's) work experience, but rather the quality of (the student's)  reflections  on that experience .
