CALPERS -YTL Corp provided no response to questions on its carbon emissions

The CALPERS Electric Utilities Report was based on responses from 112 of 265 global power companies surveyed by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a venture by 225 institutional investors with $31.5 trillion under management.
The survey asked electric utility companies about commercial risks and opportunities posed by climate change, the impacts of greenhouse gas regulation, physical risks associated with climate change, relevant technologies and innovations, and related management responsibilities.

The full report can sighted at http://www.calpers.ca.gov/eip-docs/about/press/news/elec-util-265.pdf.

Reference to YTL Corp can be found on page 47.

YTL is marked "NO RESPONSE."

And yet , the Pencil of God, otherwise known as Francis Yeoh has declared:
"Climate change has emerged as a challenge faced by every citizen in the world; we are currently at a crossroads, and if we don’t face it now, it will be at a dire cost to ourselves, to the environment and to the health of future generations......“We’ve been working hard to innovate ways to use clean technology because we need to have more adaptive technologies in addition to preventive ones. In fact, as a utilities player, we insist that our equipment suppliers must continuously work to improve their technology, not just because we demand it, but also due to the big consumer push for it.....Sustainable development is a topic that is very close to my heart, thus it has been a core issue at YTL for many years now. It is not a “cause” that we simply adopted, but instead a commitment that hinges on our responsibility as one of the leading infrastructure conglomerates in Asia....etc etc etc...."
