Australia and NSW need Army's Special Operations Engineer Regiment's skills to fight Wuhan Virus/Covid-19: Berejiklian and her State Emergency Management Committee Chairman Andrew Cappie-Wood incompetence costing too much,cannot afford another Ruby Princesse debacle

 NSW Premier Glady's Berejiklian continues to inflict economic loss on the state in what is now clearly a  misinformed and misjudged response to the Wuhan Virus. The Ruby Princess debacle was the most obvious, but prior to that was her refusal to stop flights from China.

 Additionally Berejiklian could have in reliance on NSW Health data limited the virtual lockdown to a few suburbs in NSW, but she chose instead to inflict economic loss on the entire state.

 NSW and the rest of Australia needs real expertise in dealing with biohazards and the entity that has it is the Australian Army's Special Operations Engineer Regiment.
The Special Operations Engineer Regiment (SOER) provides Special Forces Group with leading-edge mobility, survivability and specialist counter-CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive) capabilities in support of Australia's national interest.
SOER combat engineers are highly trained to work alongside other special forces on a range of contingencies, both domestically and on operations overseas.
These are the skills we need to fight the virus in the most efficient way.

The Special Operations Engineer Regiment is a Special Forces Group unit within the Australian Army's Special Operations Command.
The Special Operations Engineer Regiment (SOER) provides Special Forces Group with leading-edge mobility, survivability and specialist counter-CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive) capabilities in support of Australia's national interest.
SOER combat engineers are highly trained to work alongside other special forces on a range of contingencies, both domestically and on operations overseas.
History
SOER's motto is 'Inter Hastas et Hostes', which is Latin for 'Between spears and enemies'. This signifies the traditional sapper role and enduring unit requirement to operate in the dangerous space between enemy threat forces and own troops in order to ensure mission success.

Who authorised former NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller to say anything about the Berejiklian era quarantine fee and why? Fuller's notice confirms suspicion that NSW Berejiklian government had no basis to impose the quarantine fee, nor quarantine persons who were COVID negative

Fuller's issuance of his  COVID  quarantine notice, and subsequent silence, would seem to confirm suspicions raised on this blog that NSW's Berejiklian government had no basis to impose its quarantine fee. Fuller's conduct also adds to suspicion that the Berejiklian government did not have the authority, even under its COVID emergency powers, to quarantine persons who were COVID negative. International arrivals had to test negative for COVID before boarding their flights to Sydney, and tests had to be administered within 72 hours of departure. Revenue NSW COVID Quarantine Fee payment demand notices suggest that Police Commissioner Mick Fuller breached the law with his demand for quarantine fees

A mandatory quarantine service fee applies to all travellers arriving in New South Wales (NSW) who are required to quarantine as part of the public health order. Mandatory quarantine is needed to stop the spread. of COVID-19 in NSW The qurantine fee has been charged pursuant to Section 70 of  the NSW Health Act. However, as previously reported, that section does not permit any imposition of mandatory fees.  However, in apparent defiance of Section 70 of the Health Act, Fuller issued a notice   in which he said  that Revenue NSW " will be charging a mandatory quarantine fee".
