Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan  Anne Azza Aly Labor MP Anne Azza Aly is founding chairperson of People Against Violent Extremism (PAVE), a charity registered with the Australian Charities And Not For Profits Commission.   As of November 2016 PAVE's statutory filing of financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2015  remained overdue. When this was made known to media in November last year by this writer,  she responded via an email demanding to know what this writer could do to help her meet her reporting obligations (I kid you not). When the accounts were finally lodged, the accounts showed that some AUD 210,000 in government funding was explained away in just two items; "Other Expenses" and a "Surplus",which has presumably been retained by Ms Aly. Add to all of the above the Low Family's spectacular escape from New Zealand, and it is hard to see tha...

Image
by Ganesh Sahathevan  Malaysia, considered by many Muslims in Australia to be the model moderate Muslim country that provides an example that the Australian Government should adopt, this type of petition is only allowed if it is sanctioned by the Governmen t. Those who protest in this way without Government approval are considered radicals and put under surveillance and subject to other security measures. Minister for Justice Michael Keenan has expressed support for Malaysia's counter-terrorism and de-radicalization methods, so it is now for him to tell us what he proposes doing about this lot,who can be shown to be working in support of the Muslim Brotherhood, who can no longer be considered a non-violent movement.  Ayaan Hirsi-Ali does not speak for us; Muslim women unite to oppose Hirsi-Ali visit Sherene Hassan  Australia We, the undersigned, would like to express our utmost disappointment that Ayaan Hirsi-Ali is being brought to Australia by Think Inc.  This posi...
